Alex Lee is a Canberra, Australia based Tattooist who has been tattooing since 2022. Alex creates custom tattoos that are tailored to the clients taste. Alex’s style is vast, working with both black & grey work and colour, Alex has a love for illustrative, etchwork, fineline and blackwork but also resonates with American, Japanese and Neo Traditional styles. Alex is interested in exploring realism, ornamental pieces and large scale pieces such as sleeves and bodysuits that compliment the natural form and flow of the body. Alex’s love for visual art began when she was young and has grown and developed with her and continues to inform her professional style. Her work ranges from bold, striking designs that stand out and age with grace, to delicate fine-line pieces that flow naturally with the body working not only with the proposed piece but the natural anatomy. Each tattoo is approached with careful attention to placement, composition, and the individuality of the client to achieve a unique piece in each session. Outside of custom work, Alex creates a variety of flash sheets in multiple styles such as anime, cartoon, fineline, florals and more to suit any clients taste. Alex was invited to attend the Australian Tattoo Expo in Melbourne as a featured artist alongside her colleagues and hopes to continue attending other expos and conventions in the future. Alex also has a love for working with other mediums such as oil, acrylic, water colour, coloured pencil, digital and pixel art. She enjoys having her creativity challenged by bringing bold and unusual ideas alive through art.
